Our Schools Deserve Strong Leadership.
HUDSONVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS - BOARD OF EDUCATION
I’m Tyler Burke—a lifelong Hudsonville resident, HPS graduate, parent of four district students, and advocate for strong schools. I’m running for School Board to support students and teachers, strengthen partnerships with parents, promote safe and respectful classrooms, and provide responsible, community-focused leadership.
“I am proud to endorse Tyler Burke for the Hudsonville Public Schools Board of Education.
Having served as CFO of West Ottawa Public Schools from 2020–2024, including six months as Interim Superintendent in 2021, I understand both the importance and complexity of serving on a local school board. Strong board members need to care deeply about students while understanding that their responsibility is to provide thoughtful governance, support district leadership, and represent the community they serve. I believe Tyler has the character and perspective to do that well.
Tyler's connection to Hudsonville runs deep. He grew up in the community, attended Hudsonville Public Schools from kindergarten through graduation, and now has four children in the district. More importantly, he is already actively investing his time in Hudsonville's students by coaching, participating in Watch DOGS, volunteering at fifth-grade camp, and regularly serving in classrooms. Tyler isn't looking to get involved; he already is involved.
Tyler is a man of strong faith and character who genuinely cares about kids and his community. I know he will advocate for an educational environment where every student has the opportunity to find their path and reach their potential, whether that is a student who needs additional support, an accelerated learner who needs to be challenged, or anyone in between.
Hudsonville has been an important part of Tyler's life from childhood through raising his own family with his wife, Holly, who is also a Hudsonville graduate. I believe he will bring that history, perspective, and commitment to the Board of Education, and I am proud to support Tyler Burke this November.”
